About the role
Anterior imagines, creates, and deploys ‘previously impossible’ software and technology into complex healthcare organizations. For Anterior, the ‘Frontier’ is where our technology meets the real world to create tangible outcomes for our customers and their patients. Our Frontier Strategists own this responsibility: they are Anterior’s representatives within the customer and the customer’s advocates within Anterior. They help our customers refine their nebulous goals into a crisp shared vision of the future, and then expertly manage all involved stakeholders to execute this vision at pace.
This is an exciting new role at the Frontier of Anterior’s impact, involving deep exposure across all parts of the organization from product and engineering to clinical operations and GTM. You’ll also be part of the founding team of Frontier Strategists, helping define the role and function as we scale Anterior.
What you’ll do
You’ll lead the deployment of our platform within a customer’s organization, as well as its expansion
You’ll work with the customer to define the scope of engagement(s) and a shared vision of success
You’ll collaborate with Anterior’s functions to resource a Frontier team of clinicians, engineers, designers, product managers, and operators
You’ll drive the execution of your Frontier team, providing them with direction and helping them solve problems
You’ll build trust and credibility, becoming an advisor to the customer; the best Frontier Strategists don’t just successfully deliver what customers want, they help customers understand what they need and guide them on how best to get there
You’ll be an advocate for the customer within Anterior and a representative of Anterior within the customer, marrying expertise in Anterior’s products and capabilities with a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and objectives
You’ll often spend time onsite to embed yourself within the customer and working directly with end users, asking the right questions and building deep user empathy and domain expertise
You’ll become an expert on the healthtech landscape, clinicians’ workflows, and upcoming regulation
About you
You excel at stakeholder management and client relationships, navigating complex organizations with ease while building trust at all levels
You're technically savvy and commercially minded - equally comfortable discussing product requirements with engineers as you are exploring expansion opportunities with executives
You're an exceptional communicator, strategic thinker, and problem-solver who can translate ambiguous needs into clear solutions
You combine skeptical pragmatism with long-term optimism, staying grounded in details while pushing for transformative outcomes
You're curious, empathetic, and eager to become an expert in healthcare technology
You ideally have 3-4 years of experience in strategy consulting, as well as a background in product and technology (preferably at a high-growth startup). If you do not have all these qualities and experiences, you should still apply if you think the rest of this section describes you
You thrive in high-pressure environments and are capable of spinning multiple plates at once
You're based in New York (or willing to relocate) and are excited to work in a "default in-person" environment
What's in it for You
This is an opportunity to join the formative stages of a company that is working with cutting-edge technology to have a meaningful impact in healthcare. We’re at an exciting inflection point, and you’ll be working with a world-class team and given the opportunity to learn and grow rapidly.
We take pride in our strong apprenticeship and coaching culture. We expect our early hires to become leaders both within our company and across the industry, and we're fully committed to helping you get there.
